Your DJ/MC and Owner
DJ Bougie Brian (B.D. Williams II, M.Ed.) isn't your ordinary DJ and MC. Originally based in NW Houston, he is a veteran Educator and school district Instructional Specialist in Lufkin, TX.
Enjoying a vast spectrum of different genres of music, his playlist is forever growing for his clients (and for his vehicle going to and from work!) He started DJ'ing and emceeing for Scouting events, school functions (pep rallies, dances, etc.), weddings, and various local events over fifteen years ago.
His top priority at every event he DJs and emcees is to connect with his clients individually as well as the event coordinator to make sure that the special occasion is a success!
Your Assistant and Media Specialist
Mellie is Brian’s amazing assistant as an intelligent lighting operator, the Photobooth Specialist, and his media specialist by being the photographer/videographer to help capture all the action! When all the magic is over, Mellie then helps tear down, organize, and load the equipment neatly for the next event.
In 2025, Mellie graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, in Mass Communication. In-between gigs, she's a reporter for the local news station here in East Texas! The duo of Brian and Mellie started 2017 in digital media production as his student. In his class, Brian sparked her interest in joining journalism throughout high school.
Mellie has worked under Brian since 2019 starting with working at a Boy Scout summer camp in West Texas and then stepping into this position as his assistant.
Just like Brian, her top priority at every event is to connect with the guests of the event and ensure they have a great experience!
